The only way to overcome life-changing trials is to be certain of success. That certainty will drive every action and decision you make toward a successful resolution.
My Tony Robbins and adjacent training gave me the tools to manage my state. When something very good or very bad happens I can regulate myself and handle what’s coming. My mental map for “bad situation” has different levels, with the topmost reserved for life-changing. This post is about what I tell myself at almost every step. This keeps me lucid, focused, calm, and certain that I will figure out how to overcome the life-changing event at hand.
4 core beliefs
- I am fucking indestructible
- Yesterday was my last easy day
- Be grateful
- I don’t stop training/physical therapy/whatever when I’m tired; I stop when I’m done
No matter what happens, the situation will be behind soon, and I, and those around me or affected (family, friends, sky family, business), will come out on top.
Conclusion
Everyone has their own system. You may disagree or even think that I’m deluded, but that’s your opinion and I accept it may differ from mine. We each do what works for us. The results are the objective measurement.
What do you think?
